The LINNPOWER ZEPHYR Truck is fully forged from a single block of high-strength aluminum, commonly used in race car field, offering superior durability and impact resistance compared to standard 6061 aluminum.

Unlike standard cast trucks, our fully replaceable kingpin and axle provide higher durability and easy maintenance, ensuring long-lasting performance for aggressive riding styles. Traditional knurling and hex head designs often weaken over time, leading to instability and breakage. LINNPOWER Custom Pivot Cup
The standard pivot cups available on the market do not meet our precision requirements and fail to perfectly align with the base and the pivot point. Therefore, we have custom-made a pivot cup using better materials.
It offers better durability, with at least a 30% increase in lifespan compared to standard pivot cups. Additionally, the top vent design helps eliminate any noise, ensuring smoother performance.

I’m writing this review after 300 km with this GD. I bought the gear drive for a DIY build, mainly because it’s the only metal gear drive option for Flux Motion available in Europe. I was kind of hoping it would be quiet — and it definitely isn’t. But you know what? The sound is absolutely awesome… angry and aggressive in the best way!
The package even included motor spacers, so I didn’t have to shorten the motor shaft. Installation was very straightforward and the gear drive works perfectly! I definitely recommend it.
The support that helped me with the order was great as well!
Feels like cheating - getting the snowboard vibes in the city while commuting to work.
I love this board, i really do. The only thing I didn't love was waiting for it to arrive, approx. 3 months to Europe. But boy, I ride it every day now! Can't think of what more could I want from an e-board.
I have had the Zephyr Base for 1 month and ridden 170km now and I love the board. Build quality is excellent, the DKP is smooth and natural, absolutely stable at my cruising speeds 20-28kmh and OK up to 35kmh with stock setup and bushings. The power is more than enough, speeding up to any hills in my neighborhood, and easily reached a maximum of 30km ride up to now with still lot of power in the battery. The customizable power levels and voltage / current etc display on the remote are awesome. I had a couple of boosted style boards and now the low ride height and extreme carvy trucks of the Zephyr are a new exciting experience. The boosted wheels were a little too small and hard for my commute so I put on 100mm 74A Ingens street wheels and now also the curb clearance and comfort are just perfect.

New York City is one of the most demanding places for Electric skateboards . Pot holes , torn up road surface , cobbles , you name it .
300 miles in . The Zephyr eats it up , I weigh 240lb’s (109kg) , I’m running Dadbod 105’s I do group rides exceeding 20 miles . The trucks are crazy agile , the concave on the deck is an absolute dream . I have 3 other boards now gathering dust (genuinely ) . The value for the cost is insane . I have the pro it is fast and charges from 30% to full by the time I have had lunch at a bar with my buddies . I have not found a an urban use-case that this board cannot fulfill … incredible engineering

Great quality! I added bash guard on bottom of board. But It doesn’t need it. I changed out the grip tape. And went on trampa board website. I like the quality it is , but options to work on it. Thank you linnpower. There’s no complaints, is why I ordered this board. Reputable. 10 of 10.

Did a lot of research before making a decision and couldn’t be happier. I wanted a board that would climb hills and carve on. Being my first board wasn’t sure about belt drive or hub drive. After a month of reading about different boards I decided on the base. Didn’t feel like I needed the power of the pro. Took less than 20 days from order to ship, was not expecting it to get here that fast. When I first opened the box it was packaged great and the build quality was amazing. They pay attention to detail. Out of excitement I didn’t even charge it out of the box, took it outside and ripped around. This board is plenty powerful and carves like a dream. When on the fastest setting it flys! Need to tighten trucks if you go that fast for sure but wow this board is amazing. Now I’m hooked and if I ever feel the need for another board linnpower is the company I’m going with!

- Cast components may not be as strong and durable as forged or machined parts. To enhance the reliability and lifespan of board components, the choice is made to avoid using cast parts.
- Cast parts are more susceptible to damage under high loads or repeated use, leading to frequent maintenance or replacement. Steering clear of cast parts can minimize these issues.
- Enhancing Safety: In sports equipment like electric skateboard, the sudden failure of a part can result in severe accidents. Avoiding the use of cast parts helps to improve product safety.
At Linnpower, we never choose components just to stack specs. Every config is carefully selected to ensure balance and reliability. While there are other good cells on the market, we aim to achieve the best balance of reliability and cost-effectiveness, which is why the EVE 50E cells were ultimately chosen. They perfectly match Zephyr MAX’s configuration, delivering high capacity and long lifespan, sufficient for the majority of riders. Cell selection is based on the overall system design—ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
A356 is a good casting aluminum alloy and certainly more cost-effective. However, it is still a casting components, and its strength is significantly lower compared to forged or CNC-machined alternatives, which is why it doesn't meet our strength requirements.
ZEPHYR trucks are 130% stronger than standard cast trucks and 66% stronger than A356.2 gravity-cast trucks.
Casting inevitably leads to internal defects, whereas LINNPOWER uses forging and CNC machining, eliminating these issues. Our manufacturing cost for trucks is 5-7 times higher than casting.
The ZEPHYR Max is compatible with wheels ranging from 85mm to 200mm. The stock pulley is designed for kegel core.
*Tip: For 85mm-105mm street wheels, consider switching from drop mount to top mount for better clearance
Firstly, any malfunctions caused directly or indirectly by water damage are not covered under our warranty.
However, thanks to LINNPOWER's structure, silicone seal, etc., our board water resistance can reach an IPX5 rating. The waterproof design is intended to handle unexpected situations, but please avoid riding in the rain or humid environments.
