VIPER vs Tynee Mini 3

Discover why the VIPER electric miniboard stands out with its premium construction, advanced features, and unmatched performance.

1. Unmatched Truck Strength

The VIPER features Precision-Made LP RKP Trucks, setting a new standard for miniboard durability and performance:

  • Forged Baseplate: Made from a special aluminum alloy, forged and CNC-machined for superior strength (exceeding 6061).
  • High-Strength Axle: Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel is forged from chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, heat-treated, and electroplated for break resistance.
  • Innovative Kingpin: LINNPOWER's fastening structure eliminates traditional weaknesses, ensuring stability and longevity. Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel is forged from chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, heat-treated, and electroplated for break resistance.
  • Compatibility: Works seamlessly with Riptide bushings (25×16) for a customizable ride.

A356 is a good casting aluminum alloy and certainly more cost-effective. However, it is still a casting components, and its strength is significantly lower compared to forged or CNC-machined alternatives, which is why it doesn't meet our strength requirements.

VIPER trucks are 100% stronger than standard cast trucks and 50% stronger than A356.2 gravity-cast trucks.

Casting inevitably leads to internal defects, whereas LINNPOWER uses forging and CNC machining, eliminating these issues. Our manufacturing cost for trucks is 5-7 times higher than casting. We emphasizes reliability and safety by avoiding the use of cast components and re-designed the truck, which can be more prone to defects and breakage. Brands using similar forged trucks: Evolve Diablo series, Boosted Mini S/X, Backfire Zealot X.

2. Premium Deck Design

The VIPER's deck combines functionality and durability:

  • Materials: Bamboo & Hard Maple wrapped in fiberglass and epoxy for exceptional strength.
  • Design: 31.5-inch length, 10-inch width, and an extended kicktail for stability and control.
  • Features: Slightly concave with flared wheel wells to prevent wheel bite, ensuring a stable and agile ride.
  • Aesthetic: Sleek, viper-inspired design symbolizing speed and aggression.

3. Advanced Battery Technology

The VIPER uses the LINNPOWER FlexVolt Battery Pack, designed for safety and performance:

  • Safety: Fully enclosed holder made from fire-resistant materials and custom nickel strips for better current handling.
  • BMS: TOLL-packaged MOSFETs for higher power and lower heat generation.

4. Superior Charging & Performance

  • Charger: VIPER includes a 4.5A fast charger, compared to Tynee Mini 3's 2A or 2.5A.
  • Gear Ratio: VIPER's 2.8 gear ratio delivers greater torque and climbing ability, ideal for steep hills.
  • Waterproof Connector: External, easy-to-clean design for hassle-free maintenance.

5. Enhanced ESC & Remote

Both boards use Hobbywing ESC and motors, but VIPER's remote is a more reliable option:

  • Remote Design: CNC-machined aluminum alloy frame with a scroll wheel and double-bearing fixation for precise control.

6. Capacity & Range

The VIPER features a 12S1P, 216Wh battery pack, offering a balance of power and performance. If range isn't your primary concern, the VIPER is the ultimate choice for an electric miniboard.

We are aware that some brands claim 1P battery packs degrade quickly and have a shorter lifespan. However, such statements are completely disconnected from real-world usage. As mentioned, significant battery degradation only occurs under sustained peak output, which is rare during daily riding.

For example, if you ride the VIPER for 15 km:

  • At a speed of 20 km/h, it takes 40 minutes, with an average current of 6.6A.
  • At 30 km/h, it takes 30 minutes, with an average current of 10A.

Both scenarios are far below 30A, meaning the battery is not under excessive stress. In esk8 applications, peak currents are rarely sustained long enough to cause noticeable degradation. The VIPER’s battery and entire system have undergone extensive stress testing—there are no issues with performance or durability.

There are even more nuanced differences that you'll discover through personal experience, such as the specifics of the waterproof design, the custom pivot cup, the wheel options, and the overall riding feel......

Choose VIPER: More than just an electric skateboard, it brings pure skateboard skills back. At just 31.5 inches (80cm), this board offers smooth control, stability, and durability, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced riders who demand the best in durability, performance, and design.
