LinnPower Warranty Policy

Boards Warranty

Your warranty begins on the day your package is delivered to you. Our skateboards come with a 180-day limited warranty, ensuring peace of mind and quality assurance.

Warranty Exclusions

- The following items are not covered due to their nature of wear and tear: bearings, belts, tubes, tires, bushings, grip tape, and wheels.
- Abuse, misuse, negligence, or accidents such as riding in wet conditions or dropping the skateboard and stolen are not covered. Our skateboards have some water resistance ability, meaning they are splash and dust resistant under normal conditions. However, as with other brands, any water damage for any reason and damp, sandy, corrosive, or excessively dusty conditions is not covered under warranty.
- Damages due to unauthorized modifications, repairs, or failure to follow user manual instructions are not covered. The warranty is void if the product has been altered or poorly maintained.
- The warranty does not cover products used for commercial purposes or with unusually high usage frequency.
- Any use of the product in violation of applicable laws or regulations voids the warranty.

- Free products or gifts, as well as your product was purchased from another person or an unauthorized dealer, are not covered under this warranty.
- Warranty applies to the original owner only. Boards that have been sold or transferred to a new owner are no longer eligible for warranty coverage. We still provide support, but the new owner will need to cover the cost of parts, shipping, and any related fees.

Components Warranty

For separate component orders, we offer a 90-day warranty that covers any manufacturing defects, starting from the day the package is delivered to customers.

All components, such as an extra remote or battery, can be purchased separately in our shop. If you do not see the part listed, please contact hello@linnpower.com.

Warranty Exclusions

- The warranty excludes perishable items, including bearings, belts, tubes, tires, bushings, grip tape, and wheels. (Except just delivered within 7 days);
- The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, such as damage from abuse, modifications, unauthorized repairs, failure to follow the instructions in the user manual, negligence (including prolonged use of the battery at high power without timely charging), or any other damage resulting from misuse;
- Free products aren't covered by warranty;
- Warranty applies to the original owner only.

Additional Notes

- Customers are responsible for any shipping fees when returning items for warranty or replacement.
- Because of the high cost of international shipping and import fees, we do not accept returns for dispatched boards.
- The warranty applies only to individual defective components, not the replacement of the entire board.

Paid Extended Warranty Policy

Thank you for choosing to shop with us! To provide you with a better shopping experience and protect your investment, we have partnered with Xcotton (in collaboration with AIG) to offer a comprehensive Product Protection Plan. The Product Protection Plan you see on the product page and at checkout is provided by our partner.

Please note: in the following section, terms such as "We" and "Our" refer to Xcotton.

Here are the main details of the coverage:

1. Product Protection Plan Service Explanation
We offer optional protections for products you purchase in our stores. This protection plan is provided through a collaboration between our stores and a third-party protection plan provider. Once you purchase the protection plan, your product will be covered by protection plan for a specified period beyond the manufacturer’s warranty.

2. Protection Plan Coverage
The protection plan specifically covers the following (please refer to the Protection Plan’s Terms and Conditions for details):
·Malfunctions during normal use
·Accidental damage
·Other coverage specified by the protection plan

3. Protection Plan Cost
The cost of the protection plan varies depending on the product purchased and the coverage period. You will be able to view the cost during checkout.

4. Protection Plan Enrollment and Activation
You may enroll in the plan together with the purchase of our products. Once the protection plan is purchased, you will receive an confirmation email advising details of the protection plan. The coverage will become effective on the day your product is shipped. The coverage period begins from the date you purchase the product.

5. Claims Process
If you experience an issue covered by the protection plan, you can contact the resolution center through the link on your confirmation email. Follow the instructions on the link and Xcotton’s claims specialist will guide you through the process. Our store will provide assistance as needed.

6. Returns and Protection Plans
If you decide to return or exchange a product after purchasing the protection plan, please notify us promptly. The protection plan may be affected by the returns or exchanges, and specific conditions may apply. Please consult our customer service or click the link to the customer support on your confirmation email for assistance.

7. Disclaimer
The product protection plan cover and services are provided by a third-party protection plan provider and we act solely as an intermediary. We do not assume any responsibility for the quality or execution of the protection plan and services.  Please read the protection plan’s terms and conditions carefully and confirm the scope of coverage.

9. Cancellation
You may cancel this Plan for any reason at any time within forty-five (45) days of the date of the Plan purchase (as shown on the Purchase Confirmation).

If You request cancellation within sixty (60) days of the date of the Plan purchase (as shown on the Purchase Confirmation), and no claim has been made under the Plan, You will receive a 100% refund of the Plan Price. For any other cancellation request, You will receive a pro rata refund (based on the lapsed Coverage Term) of the Plan Price, less the costs of claims under this Plan, and less an administrative fee not to exceed the cost of the Plan or $50, whichever is less.

After-Sales Service Support

For any after-sales service inquiries, please email us at support@linnpower.com. To expedite the resolution process, please provide the following:

  • Your order email address
  • The unique skateboard identification code
  • A detailed description of the issue (mandatory).
  • Clear photos or videos that clearly demonstrate the problem (mandatory).

We are committed to resolving your issues promptly. Your detailed cooperation helps us assist you better. We provide after-sales support regardless of whether you are the original owner. However, if you are not the original purchaser (i.e., the order email & the contact email is different), you will need to purchase any replacement parts yourself.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the company’s entire liability for any claim arising from contract, tort, or any other legal theory shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. The company shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
